Intraoral Prosthesis

These prostheses are designed for patients who have undergone surgical procedures resulting in loss of tissue in the upper or lower jaw, or for individuals with facial malformations affecting the oral cavity, such as cleft lip and palate.

All the prostheses manufactured meet strict requirements for comfort, lightness, stability, support, accuracy, retention, ease of cleaning, and simple insertion and removal.

Palatal obturators for maxillectomies.

A maxillectomy causes communication between oral and nasal cavities, causing a problem with feeding, speech and quality of life in general.

I make prostheses that replace the lost tissue (palate, teeth), closing the communication and allowing as much normal function as possible.

If you have had a maxillectomy or are going to have one, I recommend that you consult me as soon as possible to evaluate the best treatment option for you.

Obturadores palatinos

Prostheses for hemimandibulectomies.

In some cases, reconstruction with your body tissue is not possible and the best option is a prosthesis that allows for proper eating and speaking.

If you have had a hemimandibulectomy or are scheduled for one, I recommend consulting with me as soon as possible to evaluate the best treatment option for you.

Cleft Palate Obturators

Cleft palate is a common birth defect that requires comprehensive treatment involving multiple medical professionals such as surgeons, dentists, and speech therapists.

In some cases, surgical repair of fistulas in the palate may not have a good prognosis. A prosthesis can be a simple, non-invasive solution to close these openings and help the patient eat and speak correctly.

Obturado LPH

Soft-palate prostheses

Velopharyngeal dysfunction is a condition that affects the palate and can cause significant changes in speech, resulting in nasal speech. This can harm the patient's quality of life, affecting their ability to interact socially and their self-esteem.

A soft-palate prosthesis is a removable prosthesis that can help correct this issue and improve speech. This prosthesis works in conjunction with a speech therapist to achieve better results.
